I was told the wrong breed...help!

Attractive mutt. NOT a Brahma (for future reference, Brahma have feet feathers at birth - they don't grow out later). Even Brahma crosses (first generation, at least) have feet feathers at birth. Here's one I hatched 2 days ago, picture taken yesterday. (Father is a mutt with clean legs)

Your bird has beautiful colors, I'm trying to breed a patterned red bird for my property with clean legs and a prominent comb (so I shouldn't be working with brahma at all, but I love the pattern of the Dark Brahma...)
