I bought a hen and got a roo. Went back to the feed store and was assured this one is a hen. Got home and I’m thinking it’s mixed EE roo, Tried to hop on a hen twice it’s size!
What do you think?

What's the age? I'm thinking pullet, based off the tail, but that's depending on age..... If it's still very young, the comb is too big and red. If it's close to 5 months or so, that's different. @TheOddOneOut is very good at telling these things. ;)

There are male saddles and hackles.

I have no idea of the age. This feed store will buy & sell customer’s chickens but no details were available except some are hens.

Yeah. I'm having a little trouble seeing some of that. If it's 4-5 months old, it's probably a pullet. My 3-4 month pullet is growing in her hackles. (She's 100% pullet. Especially compared to her brothers.)

It's definitely male.

Well...its really obvious to me. Its definitely there and definitely not a pullet. I posted a new picture of where the saddles are.

Also, it doesnt look as old as 4-5 months.

Plus, females have hackles, but they are different.
