at what age did your BCM start laying?? I have 5 marans should be laying by end of May hopefully.

She started right about 22 weeks! It’s so hard to wait but oh so worth it!! Share pics when you get some.

Those eggs are truly colorful and beautiful! Tasty looking too! I sure hope my Black Copper marans eggs are as beautiful as yours! I have some of them that are 16 weeks and hoping they will lay soon!

These are all 6 of my hens eggs. We used to have 2 EE but lost 1 last spring

The reason the other hen is laying good,large light brown eggs is because she is a red sexlink,she was bred to do so.

Yup! I was mostly joking that I used to think the Sex link eggs were fairly dark, but those Marans eggs are another level entirely
