I wasn't sure where to post this...but tomorrow we get our Silkies!

So excited. We've been preparing for them the last couple days. Thanks everyone who directed me in the right location for them. We've named them Laverne (white) and Shirley (black) even though we haven't met them yet!!

I'm going to attach a picture of them that Tracey sent me.

I'm officially (a day away from) a chicken owner!

I thought I had pretty ones. I do not have a black one that is that quality, a blue one maybe, not black. My white are getting there.

To the person saying they will not get silkies, yeah right!!! It will happen. They are too cute. I said that. Now, I have over 40. Yes 40 plus.

Thanks everyone! Tracey -- we love em! They make the sweetest chicken sounds! And Laverne (white) is fearless, made friends with the dogs and the cats. Shirley (Black) loves a box we filled with pine wood chips, shes made a nest in it i think! They are absolutely perfect! Hubby will go for a rooster, he was picking the girls up this morning and calling them "sweetie"....hahahahahaha knew he'd come around!!

Shirley laid an egg!!!!!! The whole family is CELEBRATING! No one wants to eat it because its soooooooooo cute! We are so proud of her. How rediculous are we......Its our first egg, ever! errr i mean laid by our very own chickens that is
