It's coming from a permited breeder which is how it's allowed.
Yeah I read at brooder stage they are nasty even to eachother...if/when I incubate their eggs they will be in a brooder by themselves. Several breeders inthe UK keep them in with their coturnix with somehow no problems. THen others here in the US have problems. I dont understand what would make the vast difference in temperments other than maybe their set up?
Either way I've already decided they're staying with the coturnix on a trial run until I can build them up their own thingaling.
They wont be released or sold but I will probably give eggs to friends here on BYC who want some along with thier coturnix eggies.
edited to add these will be my second critter(s) that in PA im allowed to own but can't sell (the other is my Common Snapping Turtle) LOL!
