I will never ask for "packing peanuts"again

Think of it this way- these little dudes have known a life full of love and respect. They will go on to feed a hungry family. IMO that is a great life for any chicken.

I think that this would be the only way I could look at it..

I am having a tough time thinking about one of my girls actually being a boy.. maybe next time you could split an order with someone so that you wouldn't have to get packing peanuts?

I was soft hearted for a few years, first raising chickens. Then I realize that I did give them a second chance at good life and that they are now providing my family food! Think about cows, goats, sheep...ect. It's the way that is it, the males are usually raised for food! It just gets takes time to get use to that idea. Good luck, I know it's hard!
