I wish there were Blue Laced Red Orpingtons

Cross a silver laced orp with a golden laced orp and you should have it i just read
Definitely not.
Gold laced Orpington X Blue Orpington.
Those birds would lack the mahogany gene and not be Blue-laced Red.
I usually look for short cuts when it comes to breeding.
That doesn't generally pay off in the long run. We've all heard the expression you get what you pay for. Shortcuts are not usually the best way to get the best results.

Creating Blue-laced Red Orpingtons should be fairly straightforward. The issue is keeping the body shape correct, keeping the mahogany gene, maintaining a single comb, and the correct skin color.

I was suggesting that as a first crossing.

Looking for short cuts, doesn't mean I found any. Just some wishful thinking, if that makes sense.
