romanesco cauliflower and broccoli should be picked up as soon as possible. warm weather and drought messed up my winter garden. it might get cold again in 2-3 weeks, near freezing temperature.

I see those occasionally but I’m not sure how to go about luring more of them.

In many places you can actually purchase and release larvae or young adults native to your area. It's pretty cool!

We used to have a native plant nursery that would get ladybugs he claimed were local. He's gone now, so I have to wonder if anyone else does it. What about praying mantises? A couple of egg cases collected from friends might do the trick. When I had fennel they were all over them. They drove my cats nuts through the window! Maybe planting fennel would draw them in?
