I would love to see your coops!!!

Hi All,

I love chicken coops and love to see the creativity and what other people do for their chickens.

Here is mine, We call it the Kuntry Kluker. They have a covered run for the rainy or cold days.
They have an attached uncovered run that is next to their pen under a large shade tree.
The tree provides protection again predators and provides lots of shade.
They spend most of the time under the tree looking for bugs and taking dust baths.
They love their tree. They take good care of the tree and in turn the tree takes
good care of them.

I chose an Americana theme for my girls. I love American country so country America was the perfect theme for my girls.

The Backyard where they patrol for bugs and other things they deem delicious. Organic
pest patrol at its best.

I bought one and I used a gutted stereo thing as the other they are for 11 pullets right now

they love it up there and I think that's where the eggs will be because they are digging nests there

I love seeing coops too, there are so many creative ones! We repurposed an old dog shed and added a run.

That is really cute. I love red and white colors. Using a dog shed us a really good idea.

We have an open air concept, some of the hens don't even sleep in the little house

They get a rotating pasture of about 75 square feet in addition to this, so always have access to green grass

the ope air concept is a good idea. Especially when it gets really hot outside. I notice that a few of my chickens would rather sleep on the perch in the pen
than in the coop when it gets really hot in the summer. I never planned on that but they sort of made it up. I had to add extra fencing when they started
doing that so they would be safer at night.
