Yes, I hadn't really thought they would sleep out of the house either, but since we do not close the pop door on their house (only the human sized door to outside the coop) at night, we had already made the enclosure safe against raccoons, dogs, coyote etc.
This is actually an older picture, we have since raised the house up about 18" so they fly in St night. There's a ramp, but no one seems to use it
