I wwwwwwannnt this feeder!!!!!

[Buck Creek Chickens]

I have 4 of these, 2 with outdoor, covers 2 without. love them, without the covers they can be hung. the covers come off and do not need to be used

Good garden o' peas, that thing would hold enough feed for my chickens to last 6 mos. (I've got 30) Not to mention I couldn't lift the bags to fill it. I expect the feed would go stale by the time my birds got to the top and by then I wouldn't have to buy meal worms they'd be in the feed. Maybe not in the winter but the summer would be tough.

The feeder would be gorgeous- like a garden sculpture.

No, I only have 40 chickens now with 50 coming in 4-6 weeks. Not enough to warrant such a feeder. But we can dream!

I go threw 100 pounds a day i would love to have a few of the largest one i could get for my freerange flocks on cold, wet winter mornings.
But then again i really enjoy the daily interaction with my animals and feeding them 2 times a day gives me a chance to check everyone over and make sure they ar no dang strings tangled around their feet or hanging out of their beeks.
