IA (incubators anonymous) September Hatches?

6 more this morning! I am mentantally preparing myself though: All of the A&M chicks (white ones) are super weak. At first I thought it was just regual "just hatched" nonsense but I don't think it is. I don't think many of them if any are going to survive. All the Pharaoh colored chicks (wild type) seem fine.

They were all still trying when I left. There were also three more in the incubator! I'm really not sure how many there are now, I'll try to count them tonight. I put the Birchen Marans, Bantam Ameraucanas, and OEGB on LD this morning!!! They're on Day 17 now, but with be Day 18 this afternoon.

All were doing well except one now!!! Super excited! I *believe* there are 33 of them running around right now. 2 more are zipping.

Oh, man. They are STILL hatching this morning! There were 2 more running around, 2 zipping, and 3 rocking.

My next batch arrived today! Yay! 2 Polish Tolbunt, 5 Bielefelder, 7 Blue Isbar, and 7 Crested Cream Legbar. Woo Hoo!

I’m bonkers. I just got some eggs yesterday and they are going in tonight. It’s been getting in to 40’s here, so I’m going to be brooding these for awhile if they hatch!

I candled and weighed mine when I got home. Almost all of the air cells look great! Only 3 have a tiny bit of slip. Yay!
