I know I read this on here before but searched and cannot find it. My sister went out to take care of the girls this morning and found an egg, it was ice cold. We put it on the counter with the other eggs, will it be okay or should we have refrigerated it? It was laid last night after 6:00 p.m. or very early this morning.

It is cold because it sat out for a while in the cold after being laid by the hen.

I would let it warm up before refrigeration, though..

It will be fine. In the future, if you want to prevent issues from condensation with a cold egg, simply wrap it loosely in a clean dish towel while it warms up... or refrigerate it immediately. Depends on your storage space.
