What color chicks will hatch from ice cream bar eggs? Are the females only black in color?

What color eggs do ice cream bar chickens lay? And what color chicks will hatch from ice cream bar eggs? Are the females only black in color? I ordered these eggs from Bella naturals. They also list on eBay. They were advertised with a picture of bright teal blue eggs , but this is what I received. Pale mint green. Nothing like the photo on their listing. She refused to issue a refund , so I’m stuck with these at a cost of $60 plus $15 for shipping. I would have never paid that much if I had known they are not actually a vibrant teal blue.

No, it’s a cross breed between an Isbar and a cream leg bar. They are said to lay a very vibrant blue teal egg. The only person I found online selling the eggs has a picture of a vibrant teal blue eggs on their listing but they must have photo shopped it because these extremely pale mint green eggs is what they sent me. I do not recommend buying from them. She was very rude and refused to work out a return or refund. So I guess I’ll be hatching them to see what comes out. I’m just curious if anybody knows if ice cream bars females are only black? I heard this from someone but I’m not sure

On your review of her eggs make sure you say your eggs were not as shown or described. Also if you got something that was not as it was listed you can file a claim with Ebay, even if they say they won't take refunds they are liable for selling you what they are advertising!

I wasn’t able to review because I originally saw her eggs posted with a vibrant blue picture on eBay. Then after someone else won the auction, she did not list that particular egg right away so I clicked on her other listings and it has a picture of a Bella farms site saying buy at Bella farms. So I ordered the eggs from her site because the ice cream bar blue ones weren’t on eBay anymore at that time. I guess that was not thinking. I just wanted those bright blue eggs. Haha. But anyways... I did use PayPal to pay. So I’m going that route to try to get my money back. Thanks for your response

Unfortunately that happens all the time.
Bummer of a Lesson Learned.
Hope you find the answers you're looking for....Good Luck with your hatch.

Looking at pics on Google, there are some pictures of lighter colored ICB eggs. I don't know anything about them, so maybe you just got some lighter color eggs or maybe they're usually lightly colored and the seller just turned up the saturation to attract buyers like you who are taken with the color (nothing against you, that would be me too).

Thanks for your response. Yes, I think she added color to the photo. But I did contact her before buying and asked her if that was just good lighting, are they wet, is that the actual true vibrant color of the egg and she did say it’s is the real color they lay. Then she mailed me these very pale mint green eggs , nothing like the photo. False advertising. In either case.. I will never buy from bella farms again. Lesson learned. Thanks again for your response.
