See, cake and ice cream sounds nasty to me. Cake is delicious enough on it’s own. But pie and brownies and ice cream just belong together hahah especially pie and ice cream. I can have brownies without ice cream if they’re gooey enough (HATE hard, dry, crumb brownies) but pie without ice cream is just sacrilege!!Ice cream on baked goods, hot or room temp, is a quick way to ruin both for me. I always hated having cake and ice cream at birthdays. Soupy, soggy, sticky mess.
BUT, I am VERY particular with textures when it comes to food. I like my baked goods to be solid, not soggy goo sitting in a gloopy puddle.
I do like hot fudge on ice cream, though, so it's not strictly a temperature thing for me. Not sure where my vote should fall on the poll as a result.![]()
And I wasn’t sure whether I should make the pill about the temperature thing or specifically the foods hahah
