Icelandic chick

I haven’t seen much about Icelandic chickens on here. I just hatched one and am so taken with her, my son picked the breed. We incubated a couple eggs and just one hatched, but she’s beautiful. Anyone else have icelandics?

i have a lot of chicks that look like her but have brown bodies. i have never heard of icelandic chickens but i do raise icelandic sheep

Icelandic's are hard to come by for me. Not many around my area.
The one source I found,,, they are quite expensive. I only keep pets,, so wont dish out a lotta CA$H for them,,,, or any other breed.
Don't misunderstand me. I will pay a fair price. I don't expect something for nothing
Since you are in COLD country,, you may get a laugh out of these.

Haha yes! I have been trying to accumulate cold hardy breeds because it gets so cold here lol!

I just got some Icelandic x Bresse
