As the Icelandic project here at Camelot Farms grows, so does the need for pen space!
All proceeds from this sale will go toward new pens for our Icelandic population.

If you have any questions regarding the Icelandic Chicken, please look for the thread in the Breeds section, here at BYC.

It is our hope that all owners of the Icelandic Chicken will become part of the grassroots preservation project and keep the Icelandic true to form through careful protection of its genetics.

Any questions, please post.

Thank you for considering Camelot Farm eggs for your incubator/broody.

The eggs are from the chickens pictured? A dark hen, a light hen, and a light rooster? What colors will the chicks likely be? Off to find the breed thread...

Thank you for your interest.

Icelandic are like Serama in that they do not breed true to color. They are a Landrace breed with a wide and varied set of genetics.
I like the surprise of it! lol

Oh my gosh! I'm so happy to see them in this region! I just might have to build another coop. Let me know if you'd want to swap some chicks or even a pair for something I have

Thanks for the response....aren't you concerned about the eggs getting hung up in the mail system over a holiday? Monday is legal holiday=no delivery. I'm trying to decide whether to bid or not, LOL.

Will you be selling more of these? I would really be interested in some shipped out on Tues... :-)

Honestly I had forgotten about the holiday. But I have found that even though post offices arent open, the mail still moves on the trucks and planes.

I appreciate that some could be concerned about it. I would can wait and mail on Tuesday for anyone that is interested.
The eggs in this auction are from today, yesterday and the day before. I dont know if that helps anyone.

I will be offering eggs from time to time when my hubby starts paying attention to the number of eggs in my bator...ha!
