Icelandics :)

Hi there I was wondering if any of you out there also have Icelandics. I am wanting to talk turkey..eh...chicken with ya!

A lady in our trail club does, they are kinda small, but very nice. She is a bit large for it but he rides well and very pretty.

AHA It worked!!! This is a picture of my flock. The ones right in the front are a couple of my Icelandics. They are this years hatch so are small yet. I love them. Each one is different. I have too many roosters right now though and I will be looking to sell some of those or trade XD (Too funny! We have a thrift store called Aunt Sally's Attic right in Clear Lake. Small world.

I have some icelandic chickens they are so worth geting they are always different collors

I love my Icelandics!

I have 8 hens with 3 pullets and two small cockerels.

They are like a box of chocolates you never know what you will get!

I am looking forward to acquiring my first Icey's come June 22nd at a Chicken stock here in Michigan. I understand they haven't had broodiness bred out of them and am looking forward to the young pullets bringing new life onto my farm and watching them raise them. I'm on a single acre in mid-Michigan. Also have white Chantecler, one of which went broody this spring very soon after she started layng. She's doing a wonderful job of raising her 9. (extras I put under her that hatched in the incubator).
