Howdy.
We have a 9 month old hen that has had a skin condition for a couple months and it just keeps getting worse. It started on her back with a clump of feathers missing. For a long time we thought it was just due to our over amourus rooster. When it hadn't cleared up after we separated them we discovered it had spread down her side under her wing. She stays away from the rest of the flock (9 in all) most of the day, prefering the goats. She is very docil and friendly and seems to eat fine. I think she's laying. Attached are pictures. I hope some one can identify this. It hasn't spread to the others fortunately.
Thanks,
lb
