I am going to try something different, as I realize that when I post each chick under a new thread, the topic gets lost. So I am going to reply to myself under this thread; post all the pictures, and hope some of you might be able and willing to identify them.
I have been able to upload several pictures, one at a time, but when I preview, the text either deletes or goes to a differnt area of the post. I am sure it is just me, with a different computer and this new site (new to me anyway).
So I am starting over. my apologies, but this might make it easier for anyone who wants to answer. I hope so anyway. Thanks.
They should all be standard breeds, or possible a few giants, with one surprise thrown in. Some are Red Caps, one is a Lakenvelder. I also ordered 2 Silver Leghorns, 3 Speckled Sussex and 2 Silver Spangled Hamburgs.
At least 9 are Barred Rocks. They are straight run. The rest are from the special "Rare and Unusual Ornamental Layers," that Murray McMurray Hatchery sells.
