ID help please

These are picture of the bugs that have invaded my coop. I know they are blurry, so if you need more detail, I will take some more shots. Does anyone know what kind of pest I am battling? To me, it looks like it may be two different ones, or it could be the same one at different stages.

Very hard to see and I guess the most likely suspect would be some kind of mite but to me the body looks like an American Dog Tick.
Tossing it out there, not sure at all but that speckled body has me guessing this way.

2nd pic looks more like a spider than a tick to me.
Pics are not really showing what's needed for ID.

There are tons of bugs around a coop, most are not any threat at all to the birds.
You want to look ON the birds for those.
