Included in my starter flock were 6 birds purchased from Tractor Supply as Cornish Rock cross. 2 died in the first week or so, two look like white canteloupes and can hardly stand and two look like this chick. They are between 3 to 4 weeks. These two are the size of the RIRs and the Silver Laced Wyandottes purchased at the same time, somewhat smaller than the Red Rock crosses also purchased at the same time. Both have the darkening feathers and the black band on their beak. Any guesses?

I have some chicks that look exactly like that, that I got at TSC, but mine are Columbian rock cross. Which is out of RIR hens and a Columbian rock rooster. Mine look just like yours, they will have the black beads on their tail and around the neck.

Thanks. I guess they were mixed in at the breeder or put in the wrong tub at TS.
