ID on this Ameraucana--want this color again! Blue with red edging.

I know the rooster was a blue. Is this just blue over red?

Unfortunatly I purchase as a hen... not a "HEN" anymore hahaha. I didn't question it, the big legs should have given it away. I'd like some hens---but I want to know what to do to get this color again because I LOVE it.

It is an easter egger, not an ameraucana. It is kind of a buff color.

It's an EE with some buff lacing. Pretty boy!

Though "blue buff" is not an actual color, but a description.

There are no names for EE colors unless you have a solid colored one, which is not all that common. They are just too varied.

Yet another time I have been told something was *insert name here* and it was not. Still learning.

"SHE" was 12 weeks when I got him and was not displaying any signs of being a rooster (to me, I am unfamiliar with this breed or mix) and sold to me as a Ameraucana. Go figure. That's why I need to research before I open my wallet!!! There are some SNEAKY people around here.

He's definitely a healthy boy. I had an "awww MAN" morning finding that out about a month ago.
