A Little about my family
in 1997 i was shot in the head by a friend and yes accedent but not really hunting he was drunk and blowing off steam. Long story we are still friends and id love to beat up his ex .....
I bought a home in the city they told me NO Rabbits ok 25 new zealand blues .... I sold my horses cows pigs turkeys and geese
i felt alone but my friend mark said he would help me I needed to relearn a lot including spelling, walking and so on .
Well this new home i had my sheltie in and major issues with not being allowed to have more animals like i was accustom so i brought home a kitten.
now i have a sheltie and a barn cat and then i needed something else i got a parrot .
soon we became 1 big happy family I know great huh but what has me is what happened 2 weeks ago.
out in my front yard watering my garden frosty my 10 yr old barn cat and i where just having fun when a stray Wild Turkey comes to check out what was up.
I forgot to mention my sheltie died 14 yrs and 3 days old ... we now have a blue heeler .
anyway the heeler was acting up so i put her in the house and no sooner then turning around frosty the cat walks as close to the turkey as she dare.the big wild turkey walked up to frosty... Nose to Nose they looked at each other and before my eyes Frosty licked the turkeys Nose . the Turkey rubbed i think neck upon my cat and they play like that most days .... I think its pretty cool to have them as friends although im not allowed near the turkey she /he stays about 15 feet from me unless im picking stuff out of my garden. Tammy
