I have 2 hens from a feed store and I’m not sure of the breed. They are black and white, the comb is not very red and lay dark reddish brown eggs. She just walking around, Their chirping is quail like. Very friendly.
 
Unfortunately that description is not going to enable us to give an ID, so we will have to wait for a photo.
Details such as leg color, leg feathering or lack of, toe count, comb type, facial feathering or lack of, etc are helpful as well when pictures arent available...the pattern of the black and white as well....ie is it a barred pattern, a speckled pattern, black at tail and neck with white body, etc. As you can see, there are a lot of pieces that go into identifying a bird's breed...which is why pictures are needed
