I'd be happy just to have some hens, out of the 20 chicks I got this year only 2 were pullets.

I am in Nampa, kids go to Kuna schools. I have 5 Black sex-link and 3 RIR who are now laying. I have 10 Golden sex-links who still have a couple of weeks before they start to lay. Got 6 eggs today from my 8 layers!

Something is eating my eggs, my chickens free range and roost in my barn (I have never lost a chicken) but recently noticed just egg shells in nests which were missing yolks & whites. Any ideas? I don't think its the chickens, never seen snakes (and I think they would take the egg). Skunk maybe?
