Idea for a safe run

For one of my coops, as a quick fix I dug a trench around the yard, nailed a bunch of nails into a few 2x4's and buried them with the sharp nails sticking up. You wouldn't know they were there until you started diggging. It worked:>)

That would be pretty funny. A jail themed coop.

I always thought Barred Rocks in the garden looked like a "Chain Gang" pulling weeds on the side of the road...
