I also have a hen named Lucky. I saved her when she was a chick from Tractor Supply. She was very sick and I nurtured her back to health. I love her so, so much!

Aww! Your Lucky is soo beautiful! I love her feathers!! Do you know what type of chicken she is?
My Lucky got her name during the big winter storm in February. We had bought two chicks from Atwood's (Lucky and her sister), when in the middle of the night the electricity went out. My dad woke me up early in the morning and they were both cold and barley alive. I managed to warm up Lucky with my body heat but sadly her sister passed away. My dad turned on a kerosene heater and we put her by it until my dad used a generator to power a heat lamp for her. Now she's a sweet, happy chicken!
