Ok, the one with the feathered feet, I'm pretty confident that it is a Buff Brahma...the two that still have me stumped are #5 and #8. Here are pictures that I just took today. The grey #5 does have a beard and I got a good picture of it. Do these help at all?
#5 Clean greyish legs, grey feathering on wings and a thick beard
#8 Clean orange legs. Orange face with orange and black mottled wing feathers.
This poor little baby started walking around with one toe under her foot. How can I fix this?
It doesn't seem to bother her at all, as she gets around, stands and does other chickie things just fine.
Well, I just found out that 3 of my 5 black cochins have frizzle feathers! Woo hoo! I have always wanted one and now I have three! Also, I know we have been pretty certain that the black cochins were going to be black cochins, but their wing feathers are coming in black and white...could they be mottled?
Once their feathers start to come in, it is fairly easy to tell. I'm not sure how to explain it, so I will take some pictures of it in the morning and post them up for you to see. And I will also post up a comparison photo of regular wing feathers.
. But for now, it is my bed time, so I will get them first thing tomorrow!
