Well, I have 2 Crevies which are about 3 and a half to 4 months old. 1 pullet and 1 roo. They are from Ideal. So far the roo is displaying all the characteristics of a good Crevie but I can't say he will remain that way since he is still growing so isn't full size or developing colored earlobes yet. The pullet looks good except she has 1 or 2 dark gray flight feathers per wing, Does anyone know if Ideal breeds their Crevs from American Poultry Association stock? I am asking because I am wondering if I can say they are Heritage or not. I don't want to misrepresent them when I give them away. (Long story short: My town just passed a bylaw allowing 6 hens per residence, no roosters. I have to get rid of my Crev roo and don't want to separate a potentially good breeding pair so am giving them away as a pair) Which brings me to my next question: Are there even enough Crevs in the USA to have Heritage stock? Hopefully Someone can answer these
