i am planning to order gosling from there in march.
i was just wondering when everyone else ordered from there
what kind of "packing peanuts" (male chicks)
did you get?
i have herd some people got male ducklings??

I ordered a sexed pair of Toulouse goslings from Ideal and they arrived with 14 RIR packing peanuts back in July. 2 were pullets, the rest were cockerels. I am keeping the pullets but the cockerels went to a friend's Freezer Camp coop to grow out for processing.

I tried to keep one RIR roo but I already have several roosters of various breeds. When he reached sexual maturity he started attacking and raping pullets - not a nice boy at all.

They tend to send production reds that are mistaken for RIR.
