IDEAL ? i need some answers

All the sexed chicks I order were 100% pullets. Now their bantams . . .. now, I think they hatch 90% MALES

My original Orpingtons were all from Ideal and were all pullets except for the 2 roos I ordered. No mistakes and they all turned 4 this year

. I had great service and communication from them and would recommend them to others.

I can't vouch for their accuracy yet. But I can vouch for their customer service. I ordered 10 males because I needed/wanted an Ameraucana rooster for my flock of 8 Amers and 4 RIRs. I bought the pullets locally from a feed store. But decided to order the rooster I wanted from a hatchery. (The local feed store had limited males, and you took what they had.) I chose Ideal Poultry. We lost three of the chicks in transit. When I called Ideal the next morning, the lady there told me they would credit my card for those and the other one which died later that day. No questions asked and the whole transaction took less than 10 minutes. I would order from them again with no qualms.

Actually all I wanted was 1 or 2 roosters for my dozen pullets, but had to order a minimum. The rest will go in the freezer. I added 3 male Pekin ducklings to make the minimum. 1 Ameraucana, 6 Buff Orpingtons and the 3 Pekins are nestled joyously in my brooding box in the out building. With this 100 degree temperatures here for over a month, they don't need the brooder much except at night.
