Ideal or Not So Ideal???

Plus im SO suprised. I havent heard ONE bad thing about Ideal

i ordered 100 chicks last year in 1 order had 0 doa and in the first few weeks only lost 1 chick so yup ideal is definatly a great place if you want some good layers or just want to have some birds runnin around the yard

The hatchery system in general has certain issues associated with it. In reading on this site and in personal dealings with Ideal, they seem to do a good job of trying to assure a quality product. As with anything there can be mistakes or someone at the hatchery can have a bad day. Good luck.

I love ideal. I have ordered from them every year. 15 here, 16 there. Orps, Brahmas, rocks, bantams, silkies, and this year red leghorns. Never any doa's.
