I got the Ideal Poultry special surprise pullets 5/29 hatch, and kept this little "chipmunk" chick. It has slate/gray legs, single comb & bluish earlobes.
I can't figure out what she is exactly. She looks to be a silver duckwing type coloration, but only has a little salmon on her breast. I've thought of Brown Leghorn, Iowa Blue, and several other breeds I can't remember now. But, I haven't found any that look exactly like her. Does anyone have an idea?

Thank you!

It doesn't have the distinct black/white coloring of the Egyptian Fayoumi. I might have to wait until she gets her more mature feathers in, as she looks like quite a few breeds. But, if anyone else has a guess, feel free.

Yes, I did a google search for photos of them, and saw the same photos. She is a petite little thing, so she might be.

Huh, this has got me stumped. Don't think that's an Egyptian Fayoumi though. Maybe a Dorking (if they have white earlobes..) or a Silver Duckwing Old English Game.

It couldn't be a Dorking, because she only has 4 toes; Dorkings have 5 toes.
I checked on Ideal Poultry's website, and they only have the birchen variety of Iowa Blues, not the silver penciled. So, that one's out of the question.

Because she has slate/gray legs, it couldn't be a leghorn, which have yellow legs..
It looks like a silver duckwing old english game, but then it would be nearly full-grown. I didn't order bantams, so it's supposed to be full-sized. Although, it's smaller than the other chicks the same age, it's not that much a difference that would be seen between standard and bantam.

Other possiblilities:
Silver Campine - but my doesn't have the distinct "barred pattern", so probably not
Indian Red Jungle Fowl - Ideal does sell and it seems to match the description; except all the pictures I searched for, don't match my pullet.
Egyptian Fayoumi - doesn't look like one now, but could be hatchery's variety

So, I'm leaning towards the jungle fowl - as it looks like a light brown leghorn, but with dark legs. I guess time will tell, and I can always ask again when it has more adult feathers.
