Ideal Poultry sending "shipped" email?

So it turns out they didn't actually ship them yesterday as the lady on the phone had said. They shipped them today and emailed me the tracking number after I called and asked for it. Missed school for nothing, whoops lol
I figure they'll come in tomorrow. Not missing school again so I guess I'm just going to get my grandma to pick them up for me. Wanted to be there to get them but it's whatever I guess. As long as they're alive and well.
Thanks for the help everyone!

Also @simplify what would you say the quality of their ducks/birds are? What kind did you get? I actually ordered a duckling, two goslings and some chicks and I'm not quite sure what to expect! I know it won't be anything near show quality, but I'm just wanting pets/lawn mowers.

I had a similar experience. I called yesterday, worried about the shipment of my chicks. Only after contacting them did I get an email confirming shipment and a tracking number. On the bright side... All of the chicks I ordered came alive and in one day. 14 St. Run Delawares, 2 buff orp pullets and two silkies. All together with no extra peanuts. Perhaps off topic, but, the silkies are with 5 toes, feathered feet and lacking the dreaded single comb!

Thanks Stevo! I believe your guess is quite right, as the feathers coming in resemble barred rocks I've seen.

Mica I'm glad all your chicks arrived alive! I had to do the same thing to get my tracking number, it would be so much easier if they'd just send it automatically like most places do! You should post some pictures of your chicks - especially the silkies - i'd love to see!

Oh my goodness, they're absolutely precious! If I were to ever get chickens (The ones that came with my duck/geese were given to my uncle.) - silkies for sure would be high on the list.
