Ideal Poultry Shipping

Hello everyone!

Has anyone bought from Ideal Poultry? I bought 4 duck from them on 1/31 and have not received them yet! A little worried because it is cold here in NY.

I did get an email on 1/31 confirming that the ducks were shipped!

I ASSUME you mean 1/31! Because if you ordered them last March and they aren't there yet, I think you are due a refund

Where do you live? (You should put that in your profile). Any bad weather that could cause delays? Have you checked the tracking? Hopefully you will get a call from the PO early in the morning.

I got my first 12 chicks from Ideal in 2012. All arrived well, 2 days after they were shipped I think. My 2015 girls came from Meyer and took 3 days got stuck in the Cleveland airport. Talk about stress but they were fine. The 2017 girls from Meyer showed up about 1 PM the day after they were shipped. Right to my door rather than the PO. DD and I were gone for about 1.5 hours and of COURSE that is when they were delivered, just left outside the porch door. It was late April and not warm at all. Fortunately I think we just missed the delivery by maybe 10 minutes or so. All chicks healthy.

I did mean 1/31 thanks for catching that! But they never sent a tracking number with the shipping confirmation which seemed weird to me, there has been no bad weather since then, if they do not arrive by tomorrow morning I will be contacting them for a refund.
