Great! Does your olive egger look like a Welsummer mix?

I got 2 of their regular olive eggers and I actually for 4 of their brand new "Mystic Olive Eggers." They're 5 weeks old now. Mostly black, feathered feet, and a couple are developing crests so my guess is BCM mixed with CCL.

Yes, she is identical to my Welsummer but has a pea comb instead of the big Wellie comb. I REALLY love crests though, none of my olive eggers (I have 3 others, not from ideal), have them. My aunt had a legbar mix OE with a crest a few years back & she was gorgeous, almost pure white with that funky top!

Yes when I saw the little black feathers pop up, I was so excited! I can't wait to see what they look like when they're mature.

@Iluveggers I forgot to update with a pic of my OEs from Ideal. Here's the Welsummer looking one with a pea comb next to one of their Onyx OEs. The 2nd pic is the other Onyx that has the cute crest.

What a cool mix! Must be Marans and legbar. If they do it right, could be sexlinked babies! The other is 100% mixed with Welsummer! My Wellie OE mix lays a speckled green egg! Have yours started laying yet?
