Ideal Pullet Surprise Special

I needed to add new layers to my existing flock, so I ordered the pullet surprise special from Ideal in hopes of getting some good layers. I was very pleased. My box contained 5 barred rocks, 1 Easter Egger, 1 Salmon Faverolles, a Maran, and 4 unknowns (all the same breed). Unfortunately the Maran got trampled in the box, so I'm trying to revive it Otherwise, healthy bunch. Any ideas on the "unknowns"?

My guess would be speckled Sussex or Russian orlaff

Speckled sussex are chipmunk colored.

Im unsure. Looks kinda like it qill be partridge. Maybe a partridge rock?

oh yes you are right ! They are chipmunk patterned, had a slip of the mind. And yes now that you say it they do look partridge colored, my Cochin looked almost identical in color. I agree and say partridge rocks. What color are the legs, if they aren't rocks, leg color mine help indicate the correct breed.

True. Rocks have yellow legs.
