Ideal self-sufficient Turkey?

I find turkeys are very smart and if you don't loose them as young poults(A mistake I made when I first started raising them) to a sudden chill, are hard as nails. I had 2 along with 1 chicken hen on our roof today, they are good flyers. Don't turn your back on a feed sack, they will have it open and helping themselves. They are very curious, and funny. Mine roost up high and flock together, so the half grown chickens flock stays around them for protection. I free range mine and now they put themselves away in the barn at night, but last summer, when they were younger, they'd rather stay outside. No predators bothered a flock of 30 turkeys who band together in a flock. They are great foragers, but won't pass up a handout. They are very nosy, but I love Turkeys! They taste great, too!

At least Hollands do., but I met someone who raises Palms and she said they did not taste good at all. That's the second person in 2 days that ate Palms and did not like the taste, at all?
