ideals st. run chickens

I just ordered all st. run of these breeds from Ideal. What has your experience been with sexes? More males, more females, good mix?

St. Run Silkie assortments(10) (wondering what colors I could get and sex)
St. Run Frizzles(10) (again color and sex)
St. Run EE (6)
St. Run Old English (6)
St. Run Golden Phoenix (6)
St. Run Cuckoo Maran (10)

I know thats a lot of chicks, but I am sharing with a friend we are splitting them up. I have 2 large coops also with 4 different rooms.

I've only made one straight run order ever, and it was from Ideal. I ordered 10 bantam cochins, and got 5 cockerels, 5 pullets.

Plus 15 packing peanuts, all males, but one died in shipping. Lots of boys in that box

Last year I ordered 12 straight run Dominique chicks from Ideal. I got 6 males and 6 females. They also sent me 9 males for warmth, one of them turned out to be a pullet.

Me and my aunt ordered 8 buff silkie chicks.

They are 1 month old now and I kept 3 (One died in shipping) I think and Think only I have 2 girls and 1 boy.

I call my chicks "chicken pigs" they never stop eating!!!

I ordered spefic colors on my Silkies

When is your order coming in? On the colors its going to be whatever on hand.

you can find people to buy that many chicks that is insane. I want to try it lol
