Ideas for something similar to plexiglass

Harder to store rigid sheets.

Just use two 'frame' pieces, then you can roll it up for storage.
Wrap the 'tarp' around the frame a couple times, before bolting to run, so staples don't pull loose.
Mine is only going to be 2 ft tall....but what do you mean roll it up for storage? fold it?

And good idea on reminder to wrap before stapling... :thumbsup
I would've forgot that.

Attach wood at both ends, then you can roll it all up.
What I do with one of my shade cloths, and the poop hammock under the staging crates when slaughtering.

Staple, wrap, then attach to run. Takes all the pressure off the staples.

Searching sunroom vinyl I found a website that recommends attaching grommets to the vinyl and then using a washer, screwing those into the wood.

You can certainly try that. It might be easier to maintain dimensional control that way. Build a frame the right size and cut the vinyl to fit. Those grommet kits are fairly easy to use.

I use Aart's method, wrap the ends of the plastic or vinyl around wood, drill pilot holes, and screw those in place. I could see dimensional control possibly being an issue with that.

Thanks to everyone for their advice and tips!, appreciate it so much, don't want to reinvent the wheel if someone else has already done it and normally on this forum someone has already figured it out.....
I think I'm gonna make a frame out of vinyl just for the bottom section to try it out. Still working on my ramp with lower porch, LOL, have to finish that today while the weather is nice.

not clear, but I use this siding they sell at home depot, it comes in 18 inches high and 12 feet long, I find it makes a good wind block and is high enough to keep the fowl from acting up when my dogs go by. seem to hold up pretty well to the weather even though it is particle board.

Can you post a link? I"m still looking for something to block the ducks' view inside too.
