Ideas for windproof shade in chicken run area?

New to chicken raising and trying to figure out how best to provide shade for my chickens in the run area with summer coming. My only dilemma is that it tends to get super windy and need to find a creative way to avoid having the shade fly away! Any suggestions???

Use a mesh type of material and secure it with zip ties.

You can staple a tarp to the run's frame. Or use furring strips of wood and screw it in place. It gets really windy here, and I was able to secure a tarp with eyelets screwed in the frame and roped it down. Just make sure to let them still get some of the sunlight. They really do enjoy laying in the sun.

Unless your winds are fierce and you need 100% wind blocking, I use something like this for my greenhouse.
You can purchase clip on grommets to use to attach it.

Really cuts the sun, but is still breathable.
