Ideas on selling eggs? Less work.....

Hello, I have 14 hens right now, laying lots of eggs, around 4 dozen or so a week. I was selling at the local feed store but there's a glut in the market there. The eggs are not selling.

Any ideas on EASY solutions to selling eggs without using craigslist, etc.?

Word of mouth or a sign at the end of the driveway
I haven’t don’t the sign yet, word of mouth works great for me. My cousin did the sign but needed to take it down after a week because she couldn’t keep up and the people that saw the sign are now regulars.

Work, friends, neighbors, family and church are where most people start. You might be able to donate extras to a food bank depending upon local laws.

Give a dozen away but don't feel like friends and family deserve free eggs. It cost you around $2 per dozen. They can buy a bag of feed, a bottle of wine, cookies...

Have you tried a local mom and pop store? I sell 10 dozen every other week or so in the summer. $2.50 a dozen. Got my $25.00 one day bought a scratch Lottery ticket and won a $100.00. Profitable day. Went to the big supermarket in another town and won $50.00 there the same day. I bought some nice lobsters at $4.99 a pound. Funny lobsters were cheaper than T-bones. Gotta sell yourself first. I opened every carton to show her they were full and vey big. I have WLH that lay greater that 70 Gram eggs. 70 Gram is a JUMBO. This woman couldn't understand how FRESH eggs could be better tasting than Store Bought. I brought her 2 big white ones. Gotta sell yourself again. And then she started keeping 2 dozen out for herself. LOL. I tried the giving to neighbors and only one woman bought off of me. And in over a year she's only bought 10-12 dozen. ASAMOF I still owe here a dozen.

Another idea make Quiche and sell that. VBG

I put a sign with my phone number at local gas stations until I was getting so many phone calls I couldn't keep up so I took the signs down. Now I just sell to the regulars.
