Ideas on where to add nest boxes

Ok. I have added to my flock and think I need another couple nest boxes. Not sure where to add them. I can either put one up a little bit inside the coop under the window next to the other nest boxes. Add some outside, like the ones I have but only place I can add them is under the poop boards, or maybe other side under that window but there is a fence next to the coop on that side so would be harder to access from the outside. Plus I want to put in more roosts so either expand it on that wall or put one above the nest boxes I already have since I have new pullets this year that aren't heave breeds and seem to like to be higher so roost on the board the battery is on for the chicken door.. that board is about 5' up....

A couple pictures of the inside of my coop. I can get more if needed .... And yes under poop boards was blocked for my brooder.

Any ideas?

right now too many. LOL But planning on getting down to 17. and my hens (have 7 that lay right now) aren't big on sharing if more than 3 need to lay around the same time so only see that getting worse once the "teens" start laying. So would like to add 2 more boxes at least.

well my nest box opens from the outside to collect the eggs. But I have had either a broody or a mama and babies in a nest box for the past few months more times than not so I have been going in to collect them so I am fine with one either way.

I was thinking maybe you could put 3 more on top of the existing nesting boxes.

It may work but those would need to be inside. My bigger chickens wouldn't be able to use them with the height but smaller ones should..

I was just an idea. Could you get a picture of the whole inside of the coop?

Are the current ones working well?
You might want to make a floor nest to put in the area under the boards for a broody.
