I am not a builder, designer, etc. I need help figuring out what to do here. I have one larger coop that I purchased about a year ago from craigslist. It has been housing 2 hens. Then we purchased 4 chicks 3 weeks ago. It was supposed to be 2 and somehow became 4...
I have a wonderful friend who I asked to build me a simple run for the chickens in case they need to be kept in for an extended time. They free range most of the day.
He doesn't have chickens and built me a small coop. I put the chicks inside for a few hours a day and its a perfect size for them now, but it would be way too small for 4 or 6 hens.
I am thinking I can attach it to my current coop? I'm not sure how to do this. Its not as tall as the door to my coop so I can't just put it next to the door...any ideas?
