Identify Breed and Gender

Do you know how old the lighter colored bird is? I'm not positive it's a pullet, I'm thinking younger cockerel, second generation sex link. Or do you know where it came from?

I think it was hatched in early September. I have no idea where it came from. Was given to us by an acquaintance for a gold coin.

4-9 months is what I have gotten with my pullets & hens.

It is, both the chickens are of same age with a week's difference.
