Two of my ducks I got from a family that bought them for their daughter around easter. They knew nothing about them other than they bought them at Atwoods Home and Ranch store. I figured they were runner ducks, as that is what my Atwoods was selling... but now that they are grown... they look nothing like the other 5 that I purchased from the store... any help identifying them would be great!

Willow, the white one circled and River the brown one circled... also how can I sex them now that they are this big?

The white one looks just like the ones we have here. I believe it is a Pekin duck. I read that only the females quack, the males make noises but not a quack. I have A LOT to learn about ducks lol. They were our neighbors but they like us better and we have a lake so they gave them to us lol

The brown one barely ever makes noise and the white one doesn’t stop making noise. I believe the white one is bigger because it had a leg issue when I got it and could barely walk. Now its all over the place....

Ugh... I didnt want a drake lol, can you keep the drake with the females and still have unfertilized eggs?
Highly unlikely. But fertilised tastes and looks the same as unfertilised—the only difference is a ring around the white spot (blastodisc) on the yolk.
