Hi, I adopted 24 chickens yesterday. Please help me identify them. A B C D E F G H So A: B: C: D: E: F: G: H:
Nice! Looks like A: Silver Polish- bearded B: White Polish-bearded C: White Crested Black Polish D: White Leghorn E: Buff Minorca F: Easter Egger G: Mottled Ancona and H: Silver Spangled Hamburg in that order. Edited to add details about type and the buff could be Buff Leghorn.
My guesses: a. White laced polish b. White polish c. White crested black polish d. Hard to see the comb there and i the legs are really white or relly bleached out. Skinny legs and body but long tail. My guess would be either leghorn with short floppy comb I can't see or a game mix e. I can't see the leg color, but if they are yellow, my guess is a buff rock. If they were white, I'd say buff orp. However... they are too skinny to be really ether one of those... so I want to say a mix with a leghorn due to that comb.. do buff leghorns exist? Either way, it looks like a Mediterranean breed. f. EE g. Speckled hamburg? De Uccle mix? h: Seabright speckled hamburg mix?
Thank you soo much ella and silkiechicken that defiantly helps Hooligan, A couple that DJs karokee at a bar we visit sometimes told us they were getting rid of them cause they didn't have time for them anymore. So we took them and I now have 55 chickens total DH has said NO MORE!!! OOps
silkiechicken D. Has very white legs and a short floppy comb Oh on C:White Crested Black Polish they all have good size spurs, but they don't crow and our roosters seem to think they are hens. Do they normally have spurs?
A. silver laced polish B. White polish C. black polish D. White leghorn E. Buff rock F. Americana or EE G. Hamburg I don't know much about the polish breed so they are just guesses.
A: Silver Laced Polish B: White Polish C: WC Black Polish D: White Leghorn E: No Clue! lol.. F: EE G: Not sure.. speckled something or another! lol... H: SSH Those are my guesses! ETA: A couple that DJs karokee at a bar we visit sometimes told us they were getting rid of them cause they didn't have time for them anymore. So we took them and I now have 55 chickens total HAHA! I love being able to support myself like that. =] I just bought 17 Porc. d'Uccle eggs, a mix of 10 white cochin and d'Uccle eggs, 2 white cochin pairs, 2 little chicks, a pair of Mille Fluer d'Uccles and 27 button quail eggs!
