Identify that duck? (Please)

Hi Everyone,

I was at the animal shelter getting my dogs licensed and saw two lonely ducks. They were an owner surrender when the neighbor called it in (no ducks in many parts of Los Angeles). I took them home and am introducing them to my baby goslings and silkies. I was hoping someone might be able to help my identify them. They are about 12-15 pounds each. One is a male and one a female. in case you need size for reference in the images the goslings (four american buff and two Sebastopol) are 4 weeks old and the plywood panels are 2 feet high. I was thinking Peking/Giant Peking but I've had those and the body shape is a bit different. They almost look like the Swedish drakes I had but all white.

They look like pekins, or perhaps Aylesburys. Congrats on the new additions!

I agree, they look like Pekins to me as well.

Edit: Pekins from different breeders can look different or have different body shapes. For a drastic example, look at show Rouens vs production Rouens.

They look like pekins to me as well. Maybe jumbo if they are that large. Glad they found a safe home!
