Identify the Blue Red Cubalaya, Partridge Chantecler and Ameraucauna

OK, I have some pictures of the mystery (to me) birds from last night. All of 6 days old.

I have the Ancona, Favereolle and Astralorps figured out, maybe someone can help with the Blue Red Cubalaya, Partridge Chantecler and Ameraucauna. They came from Ideal. Don't know if that means my Ameraucauna are really just generic Easter Eggers.





As you can see, the two brown ones at top seem to be a pair as do the 2 light yellow ones at the top/right. The 2 more yellowish ones have clearly similar wing markings which are distinctly different from the light yellow ones.

They love getting grass (cut some days earlier and still out on the lawn). After the first time they figured out there were goodies in it. They weren't sure about the small earwigs in the second batch but figured them out. Then I put some more in last night and all 12 jumped right into the pile to get their treats.

Yep, "Ameraucanas" from Ideal are really Easter Eggers. But, I have 2 EE's and love them, you'll be happy I'm sure.

EE's are the only ones I can help you with. They're often chipmunk striped with greenish legs and pea combs. I can't tell if those last 2 things are true based on your pics, but I do wonder if the two top chipmunk striped ones are your EE's.

1st pic is a chantecler,

the cubalaya will be yellow it looks like

now the ee's should be chipmonk striped with green legs and a beard


the anacona are your black and white chicks which you already know ;-)

the favereolle are light yellow with what appears to be white ;-)

the astralorps are black and white with slate/black legs ;-)

I certainly wouldn't have guessed a bird as dark as a BR Cubalaya would be a pure yellow chick! I had thus originally guessed those to be the Ameraucana (or, I guess, the EEs) since I expected the Partridge Chanteclers to also be dark.

OK, so we have that one down and a disagreement on the other two. Haven't gotten to the comb or beard stage yet. I'm going with hdowden's picks because:
1) The legs are quite clearly light on the bird in the first picture.
2) I think I remember the legs on the lighter brown ones being sort of greenish grey. You can kind of see it in the 2nd and 3rd pictures. I can't check until Monday though, I'm 600 miles away In the week that will have passed since I last saw them, they'll be so big I won't recognize them and the EEs will probably be showing 'facial hair'. The Favereolles already show a hint of muff.

It will be fun to watch them change color as they get older. I'm sure you "old hands" are over it but as a first timer I'm amazed and fascinated by the tiny birds. How fast they grow and change. What they can do 2 days after hatching (and a 1,000 mile plane ride). How they just seem to know "if it moves and isn't too big, eat it".

hdowden is definitely right

The larger, lighter brown birds now clearly have green/gray legs and are starting small muffs.
The Chipmunk stripe has all but disappeared on one. Amazing how they change in a short time.
